6.1 out of 10. That number comes from a casino that serves Canada properly in one breath and tells Canadians to go away in the next. 7Bit prices everything in Canadian dollars, puts Interac at the top of its cashier and publishes more of its own numbers than most Curaçao licensees bother to. It also carries a terms clause naming “Canada (all provinces by IP)” among countries whose players are “strictly prohibited from accessing the website”, and it sends a Canadian in difficulty to a helpline in Britain.

The short answer
7Bit Casino is a crypto-led online casino that has been trading since 2014, operated by Kika Technology B.V. of Willemstad and licensed by the Curaçao Gaming Authority. For a reader in Canada the useful summary runs to four lines. The catalogue is genuinely large and the cashier genuinely speaks Canadian. The bonus arithmetic is top-heavy, with three quarters of the headline cap hidden behind a fourth deposit. A slab of the live-dealer floor is closed to Canadian players by the game studios themselves. And the only consumer protection in the chain is a Curaçao licence, because nothing here touches the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
What we checked, and when
Nobody on this desk deposited at 7Bit. Everything below was read off the operator’s own pages through a Canadian residential connection on 20 October 2026, and we would rather say that than dress a documents review up as a weekend at the tables. Where a figure is absent, it is absent because 7Bit does not publish it.
| Check | How | What came back |
|---|---|---|
| Account currency | Loaded the cashier and read clause 9.6 of the terms | CAD listed third, after EUR and USD, ahead of AUD and NZD |
| Welcome offer | Added the four tiers in the bonus terms together | 325% and 250 spins, capped at C$10,800 |
| Where that cap sits | Compared tier by tier | C$8,000 of it is the fourth deposit alone |
| Wagering | Read the bonus terms against the promotions page | 35x in one place, 40-45x in the other |
| Canadian payment rails | Rendered the deposit tab from a Canadian IP | Interac first, then MiFinity, Visa, Mastercard |
| Country restrictions | Read clause 4.3 of the terms in full | Canada named twice, once by province and once by studio |
| Verification timing | Compared the help centre with clause 8.5 | 24 hours against 30 working days |
| Problem-gambling referrals | Read the Play Safe page end to end | Three charities, none Canadian |

The clause that names Canada
Section 4.3 of the terms carries a heading about game availability and an introduction explaining that what follows is “mandated directly by the game provider Evolution Group (including NetEnt, Red Tiger, etc)” and that the company “has no authority to grant access or make exceptions”. Then comes the sentence itself, and the sentence does not match the heading.
It reads: “Players from the following countries are strictly prohibited from accessing the website and playing any real money games: Group A: Australia, Canada (all provinces by IP), Crimea, Cuba, Denmark, Greece, Iran, North Korea, Netherlands, Sudan, Romania, South Sudan, Sweden, Syria, United States, Taiwan, United Kingdom, Czechia, Latvia, South Africa, Peru, Brazil.”
Two readings come out of that paragraph, and keeping them apart is the single most useful thing this page can do.
The reading the context supports is a studio block. Evolution, NetEnt and Red Tiger will not let their content be served to Canadian IP addresses on a licence like this one, so those titles disappear from a Canadian lobby. Clause 4.3.5 says it again in plain words - “All Red Tiger games are blocked for countries in Group A” - and Monopoly Live and Monopoly Big Baller are pulled for the whole group. Two individual slots, Vikings and Street Fighter II, name Canada a second time in their own blocklists. That is a real product limitation and we treat it as one on our walk through the game catalogue.
The reading the sentence actually gives is broader: that a Canadian is prohibited from accessing the website at all. Nothing on the live site behaves that way. Canada is absent from the restricted-countries list in clause 3.4, the one that governs who may deposit and play for real money. The homepage served us a Canadian-dollar welcome pack without being asked. The cashier led with Interac. Canada is not blocked; the sentence saying it is has simply been written too wide.
Why it still matters: a clause you may be held to is a clause worth reading before you fund an account, not after a payout is queried. If a dispute ever reached the Curaçao Gaming Authority, the operator’s own terms contain a sentence that says Canadians should not have been there. We cannot tell you how that would be argued. We can tell you it is in writing, and that 7Bit has had every opportunity to tighten the wording.
Who holds the licence
The footer on every page is unambiguous and, by Curaçao standards, generous with detail: 7bitcasino.com is “owned and operated by Kika Technology B.V. that is incorporated under the laws of Curacao with company registration number 164980 and having its registered address at Zuikertuintjeweg Z/N, Willemstad, Curaçao”, licensed by the Curaçao Gaming Authority under OGL/2023/147/0081.
The problem is that it is not the only version. 7Bit’s own About page, under its own “License” heading, says something different: “7bit Casino is owned and operated by Scores55 Tech B.V. registered under No. 162990 at Scharlooweg 39, Willemstad, Curaçao. This website is licensed and authorized by the Curaçao Gaming Authority (license no. OGL/2024/1307/0748).” A different company, a different registration, a different street and a different permit - on the same website, on the same day. And clause 1.1 of the terms gives the Kika registration as 16498, five digits where the footer prints six.
Three statements of who runs this casino, and no two of them agree. We did not query the Curaçao register, so we cannot tell you which is current, and the likeliest explanation is stale copy on a page nobody edits rather than anything designed. But a reader who wants to know whose licence is protecting their deposit cannot establish it from the operator’s own site, and that is the finding.
The help centre then undoes some of that goodwill. Asked why verification documents are needed, 7Bit answers: “We are regulated by Kika Technology B.V.” Kika Technology B.V. is the licensee. It is the company being regulated, not the body doing the regulating. On a page whose entire job is to reassure a nervous player about identity checks, naming yourself as your own regulator is an odd thing to leave standing. The full licence breakdown takes that apart properly, including what the Curaçao regime changed in 2023 and what recourse it leaves a Canadian.
What “325% up to 10,800 CAD” is actually worth
The headline is arithmetically honest, which is more than can be said for most. Four deposits, four matches, and the numbers add up exactly as advertised.
| Deposit | Match | Cap | Free spins | Code |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| First | 100% | C$800 | 100 | none needed |
| Second | 75% | C$1,200 | 100 | 2DEP |
| Third | 50% | C$800 | none | 3DEP |
| Fourth | 100% | C$8,000 | 50 | 4DEP |
| Total | 325% | C$10,800 | 250 | - |
Now look at where the money lives. C$8,000 of the C$10,800 - seventy-four per cent of the headline - is the fourth deposit, and reaching it means depositing C$8,000 of your own. The first three tiers together cap at C$2,800. A player funding four C$100 deposits gets C$100, C$75, C$50 and C$100 in bonus credit: C$325, not C$10,800.
Then the wagering, which is where the package stops being generous. Bonuses clear at 35x under the bonus terms, and the maximum bet while any welcome bonus is live is C$2 a spin. Max out that fourth tier and you are asked to turn over C$280,000 in C$2 increments, inside fourteen days, on slots only, because table games weigh 5% and live games weigh nothing at all. Our bonus hub runs the full worked example and our plain-English guide to rollover shows how to do that sum on any offer you meet.
One more thing to know before you enter a code: the promotions page says bonuses “should be wagered 40-45 times”, while the bonus terms say 35x. Both were live on the day we looked. The terms are the binding document, but a player who reads the marketing page first is budgeting against the wrong multiplier.
Is there a no-deposit bonus?
No - not one 7Bit advertises. The bonus terms describe the rules for no-deposit free spins and for free chips handed out by a VIP manager, but the site publishes no code that claims either. Its own bonus page instead tells readers to “search for 7Bit Casino bonus codes on partner websites”, which is a polite way of saying that any no-deposit offer in your search results came from an affiliate, not from the casino.
If one does land in your account, one number governs it: the maximum payout from registration free spins is C$100, and anything above that is forfeited. Free chips and manager cashback cap at ten times the bonus. We go through the practical consequences on the no-deposit page.
The cashier, in Canadian dollars
This is where 7Bit earns most of its score. Served a Canadian address, the deposit tab opens with Interac - not Visa, not Bitcoin - and every limit on it is quoted in dollars rather than converted from euros at the till.
| Method | Fee | Deposit speed | Minimum | Maximum |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Interac | Free | 1-3 banking days | C$60 | C$3,000 |
| Online banking | 0% | Instant | C$20 | C$8,000 |
| Visa / Mastercard | 2.5% | Instant | C$30 | C$8,000 |
| MiFinity | Free | Instant | C$40 | C$2,000 |
| Neosurf voucher | Free | Instant | C$20 | C$20,000 |
| Bitcoin | network only | Instant | C$6 | not published |
Three things a Canadian reader should take from that table. Interac is free but is the slowest deposit on the list, because it clears over banking days rather than instantly. Cards cost 2.5% to fund, which is unusual enough to notice - most casinos absorb that. And Bitcoin opens the account at C$6, which is the lowest entry price here by a wide margin and the clearest sign of where this operator’s heart is. The method-by-method detail, including what the withdrawal side does and does not tell you, sits on the deposits and withdrawals page.
The clause almost nobody reads
Clause 9.14 of the terms, in full: “Funds deposited to the Casino are intended for entertainment purposes only. Any deposits need to be wagered at least 3 times, table/live games at least 10 times playing real money. The Casino reserves the right to cancel any payments until you have fulfilled the deposit wagering requirement.”
Read that again without a bonus in mind, because it applies without one. Deposit C$500, decline every promotion, win on your third spin and ask for the money back, and 7Bit may hold the payout until you have staked C$1,500 on slots - or C$5,000 if you were at a blackjack table. It is not a bonus condition. It is a condition of having deposited.
Plenty of casinos run a clause like this and almost none of them put it on a promotions page. It is the main reason the payments page here opens with a warning rather than a payment logo.
Getting money out
The published ceilings are C$20,000 a week and C$80,000 a month, and a balance above the monthly figure is paid out in monthly instalments until it is gone. The floor is C$40. Withdrawals go back to the method that funded them wherever the processor allows it, and third-party accounts are prohibited outright - winnings traced to someone else’s card or wallet are voided rather than returned.
What 7Bit does not publish is how long any of this takes. The deposit tab lists processing times; the withdrawal tab mirrors it rather than replacing it. There is no stated pending period, no per-method payout window and no note about weekends. The only figure anywhere is a marketing one - “money-outs with bitcoins take less than ten minutes” on the About page - which we have not tested and will not repeat as fact. Our guide to how casino payouts actually move explains the three stages a withdrawal passes through, which is the next best thing to a number the operator will not give.
One term to diarize: an account with no login for twelve months turns dormant and starts attracting an administrative fee of at least C$50 a month, debited from whatever balance is sitting there.
Verification, and the two answers to the same question
7Bit wants a government photo ID, a proof of address no more than ninety days old, and proof of the payment method you funded with. It reserves the right to ask for source of funds, and clause 8.12 reserves the right to put you on a video call. Documents upload in-account as PDF, PNG or JPG under 10 MB.
How long it takes depends which page you believe. The help centre says: “we will aim to review your documents within 24 hours.” Clause 8.5 of the terms says: “Consideration timelines for KYC documents could be up to 30 working days from the moment when the client provided all requested documents.” Thirty working days is six calendar weeks. One of those numbers is a service aspiration and the other is a contractual ceiling, and only one of them is enforceable.
The same split runs through whether verification is needed at all. The help centre says no, “although in certain circumstances we may ask you”. Clause 8.8 then lists registration, before a deposit, before a withdrawal, on reaching a threshold, on changing your details, and on any unusual activity. The permissive answer and the exhaustive clause live on the same website. Plan for the clause. Our verification guide covers what Canadian documents clear fastest and why a Curaçao licensee’s checks are not FINTRAC checks.
What is left in a Canadian lobby
7Bit claims “over 10,000 games” and links roughly a hundred studio pages from its own footer, which is a reasonable proxy for breadth: BGaming, Pragmatic Play, Playtech, Hacksaw, Push Gaming, Relax, Yggdrasil, Quickspin, Endorphina, Belatra, 3 Oaks, Spribe and a long tail of smaller shops. Collections are organized the way a crypto player thinks - Megaways, Bonus Buy, High Risk, Low Risk, Crash, Hold & Win - rather than the way a lottery-corporation site does.
Then subtract Group A. Evolution’s live-dealer floor, NetEnt’s catalogue and every Red Tiger title are blocked for Canadian IP addresses by the studios, which removes the live roulette and blackjack tables most players picture when they read “live casino”, along with a chunk of the branded-slot shelf. The live games that remain come from other providers. A Canadian reader comparing lobbies needs to know that the number on the homepage is not the number on their screen.
Against that, one genuine credit. 7Bit publishes a working provably fair verification method rather than a slogan: a Fisher-Yates shuffle seeded by a Mersenne Twister generator, a server secret, a SHA-256 fingerprint, a player-chosen client seed, and a worked example with a real hash you can check. Very few casinos at this level show their arithmetic. This one does.
The loyalty program, costed
Twelve levels, every value published, which again is more disclosure than the category norm. Cashback climbs from 5% to 20%, wagering on level rewards falls from 50x to 5x, and the level-up bonuses run from 30 free spins at Level 2 to C$4,000 at Level 12.
The published earn rate is what makes it costable. You collect one Redeemable Comp Point per C$30 wagered, you cannot convert fewer than 100 of them, and you cannot convert at all until a fourth deposit has cleared. So the first conversion available to a new player costs C$3,000 of turnover and returns C$2.00 of bonus money - which then carries 50x wagering of its own. That is a return of roughly 0.067%, before the rollover. The ladder becomes worth climbing somewhere around Level 6, where cashback doubles and the wagering on it drops to 30x. Our VIP write-up walks each rung.
One figure is missing, and it is the figure that matters most: how many Status Comp Points each level requires. 7Bit publishes the earn rate - one point per C$1.53 wagered - and the rewards, but not the thresholds between them. Without those you cannot work out what Level 6 costs, and we are not going to estimate it for you.
Where this review turns cold
The tools are fine on paper. Deposit, loss and bet limits by day, week or month, with a 24-hour wait before any increase takes effect. Cooling-off from one day to six months. Self-exclusion for six, nine or twelve months. Permanent closure on request. That is a reasonable kit.
Three problems sit on top of it, and 7Bit states two of them itself.
First, the loss limit does not cover winnings, and the Play Safe page explains why in its own words: “if a player deposits 100 CAD, sets a loss limit of 20 CAD, and then wins 2000 CAD, the player may still lose more than 20 CAD from the 2000 CAD balance because the limit is based on the initial deposit, not on winnings.” A loss limit that stops applying the moment you win is a loss limit that stops applying when it is needed.
Second, clause 9.8: “due to the nature of cryptocurrencies, deposit limits cannot be applied to the cryptocurrency deposits.” The headline safety tool does not function on the funding rail this casino was built around. Its own page title is “7Bit Bitcoin Casino”.
Third, and this is the finding we cannot get past: there is no Canadian referral anywhere on the site. A player in trouble is pointed to GamCare, Gordon House and Gamblers Anonymous - a British helpline, a British residential charity and a fellowship founded in the United States. No ConnexOntario. No provincial line. No GameSense, no Responsible Gambling Council. 7Bit localizes its prices to Canada and its duty of care to Britain. If you need help today, the number is 1-866-531-2600, it is ConnexOntario, it answers around the clock, and you did not get it from the casino. The full list of Canadian services is here.
7Bit against a registered Ontario site
This is the comparison that actually explains the score. The right-hand column is not a better casino; it is a different legal arrangement, and the gap is what the offshore discount buys and costs.
| What you get | 7Bit Casino | An AGCO-registered site |
|---|---|---|
| Regulator you can escalate to | Curaçao Gaming Authority only | Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario |
| Who the operator says it is | Three different answers across footer, terms and About page | One registered entity, listed publicly |
| Independent dispute service | EGIS, named in clause 15.4 | Required under the Registrar’s Standards |
| Complaint window | 6 months, set by the operator | Set by the regulator, not the operator |
| Self-exclusion | 6, 9 or 12 months, by request to support | Self-service, with a province-wide register |
| Deposit limits on crypto | Not possible, per clause 9.8 | Crypto not offered |
| Advertising rules | None that bind it | Inducement and bonus advertising restricted |
| Interac deposits | Yes | Yes |
| Catalogue size | 10,000+ claimed, minus Group A studios | Smaller, fully available |
| Crypto funding | Thirteen tokens | None |
Our explainer on what iGaming Ontario covers sets out the regulated market without telling anyone how to get around it, which is a line we hold on every page here.
What we liked, and what we did not
Pros
- Genuine Canadian-dollar pricing throughout - cashier, bonus terms, VIP ladder, even the dormancy fee
- Interac at the top of the deposit list, free, with limits quoted in dollars
- An independent dispute provider is actually named in the terms, which is rare at this licence level
- A working provably fair method, published with a verifiable example
- A twelve-level loyalty program with every reward value and earn rate disclosed
- Bitcoin deposits from C$6, which is the cheapest way to see the lobby from the inside
- Eleven years of continuous trading under the same brand
Cons
- A terms clause that names “Canada (all provinces by IP)” as prohibited from the website
- The site gives three different answers about which company operates it and under which licence
- Evolution, NetEnt and Red Tiger titles closed to Canadian players
- C$8,000 of the C$10,800 headline requires an C$8,000 deposit
- A C$2 maximum bet while any welcome bonus is live
- Wagering published as 35x in one place and 40-45x in another
- Verification quoted as 24 hours in the help centre and 30 working days in the terms
- Deposits must be turned over 3x on slots or 10x on tables even with no bonus taken
- Deposit limits cannot be applied to crypto at all
- No Canadian problem-gambling referral anywhere on the site
- No test house named for the RNG, and no RTP published per game
Who this casino suits
It suits a crypto-comfortable player who wants a very large slot catalogue, funds in Bitcoin or USDT, reads terms before clicking, and does not care about live dealer tables. For that person, C$6 gets you in, the provably fair widget is real, and eleven years of trading is a meaningful track record in a category where brands vanish.
It does not suit someone whose idea of an online casino is a live roulette wheel, because the studios that make those wheels will not serve Canada here. It does not suit anyone who relies on a deposit limit to stay in control, because on this site that limit stops at the crypto cashier. And it does not suit a player who wants somebody to complain to.
We do not recommend taking the fourth deposit bonus. C$8,000 of your own money, matched to C$8,000 of bonus credit, cleared at 35x in C$2 spins inside fourteen days, is C$280,000 of turnover on slots alone - and real money is spent first, so the bonus is still live and still capping your stake long after your deposit is gone. The first tier, at C$800 and 100 spins, is the only part of this package a normal bankroll can actually use.
The verdict
6.1 out of 10. The score starts high because 7Bit does the hard, boring parts well: it quotes real Canadian prices, it publishes a loyalty ladder you can cost to the dollar, it shows the mathematics behind its own fairness claims, and it names a dispute provider instead of leaving escalation inside the building. Most Curaçao casinos do none of that.
It loses four points for things that are also in writing on its own website. A clause saying Canadians may not access the site, on a site that serves Canada in Canadian dollars. A live-dealer floor Canadians cannot open. Two different wagering multipliers and two different verification timelines, published simultaneously. A deposit-wagering rule that catches players who took no bonus at all. And a responsible-gambling page that, for a Canadian reader, is an address in another country.
None of that makes 7Bit a scam, and we have not called it one. It makes it a casino that you need to have read before you fund, which is exactly backwards from how most people arrive at one. If you read this far, you have done the part the operator should have done for you.
Frequently asked questions
Is 7Bit Casino legit?
It is a real, licensed, eleven-year-old casino: the footer names Kika Technology B.V., Curaçao company number 164980, under Curaçao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2023/147/0081, and clause 15.4 names EGIS as an independent dispute provider. The caveats are that the About page names a different company under a different permit, and that nothing in the chain is regulated in Canada, so there is no AGCO escalation and the complaint window is one the operator sets itself at six months.
Can Canadians play at 7Bit Casino?
In practice yes - Canada is absent from the restricted-countries list that governs real-money play, the site serves Canadian dollars, and Interac heads the cashier. But clause 4.3.1 names “Canada (all provinces by IP)” in a group it says is “strictly prohibited from accessing the website”, and whatever that clause was meant to say, it is still published. Read it before you deposit.
Which games are blocked for Canadian players?
Everything from Evolution, NetEnt and Red Tiger, which takes out the best-known live dealer tables and a block of branded slots. Monopoly Live and Monopoly Big Baller go with them. Two individual titles, Vikings and Street Fighter II, list Canada separately. The blocks come from the studios, not from 7Bit, and the casino says it cannot make exceptions.
What does the welcome package really pay on a small deposit?
On four C$100 deposits it pays C$325 in bonus credit and 250 free spins, not C$10,800. The headline cap needs C$800, C$1,600, C$1,600 and C$8,000 of deposits to max all four tiers, and the fourth tier alone accounts for C$8,000 of the advertised total.
Does 7Bit Casino have a no-deposit bonus for Canada?
None that the casino advertises. Its bonus terms describe how registration free spins and manager free chips would work, and cap payouts from registration spins at C$100, but no claimable code is published. The operator’s own page points readers at partner sites instead.
How long does verification take at 7Bit?
The help centre aims for 24 hours. The terms allow up to 30 working days once every requested document is in - roughly six calendar weeks. Both statements were live on 20 October 2026, and the terms are the enforceable one, so budget for the longer figure.
Is there a withdrawal limit?
C$20,000 a week and C$80,000 a month, with anything above the monthly ceiling paid out in monthly instalments. The minimum cash-out is C$40. VIP levels two and up can ask a manager to review the limits, but the figures published apply to everyone by default.
Do I have to wager a deposit before withdrawing, even with no bonus?
Yes. Clause 9.14 requires every deposit to be staked at least three times on slots, or ten times on table and live games, and lets the casino hold a payout until that is done. It applies whether or not you accepted a promotion, which makes it the most consequential term on the site that is never mentioned in marketing.
Where do I get help if gambling stops being fun?
ConnexOntario answers 24 hours a day on 1-866-531-2600 at no cost and in confidence, and the Responsible Gambling Council publishes national resources. Every province runs its own line as well. 7Bit itself lists only GamCare, Gordon House and Gamblers Anonymous, none of which are Canadian services.
What is 7Bit’s provably fair system?
A published verification method rather than a marketing phrase. Each round is built from a shuffled deck or reel set generated by a Fisher-Yates shuffle seeded by a Mersenne Twister generator, combined with a server secret and your own client seed, and fingerprinted with SHA-256 so you can confirm afterwards that the result matches the hash shown before the spin. 7Bit publishes a worked example with real values.
